Comments & Complaints

commentsWe make every effort to give the best service possible to everyone who attends our practice.

However, we are aware that things can go wrong resulting in a patient feeling that they have a genuine cause for complaint. If this is so, we would wish for the matter to be settled as quickly, and as amicably, as possible.

To pursue a complaint you can contact the Practice Manager and the Practice Manager will deal with your concerns appropriately. Should you wish that complaint to be made formal, you will be asked to put it in writting. Further written information is available on the complaints procedure from reception.

We are continually striving to improve our service. Any helpful suggestions would be much appreciated and any suggestions can be place in the prescription box that is located at reception.

The Scottish Public Services Ombudsman

The procedure for making a complaint against the NHS in Scotland is described in the leaflet Making a Complaint about the NHS.

The ombudsman has published a booklet that describes the process behind bringing your complaint to the ombudsman

If you remain unhappy after everything has been done to try to resolve your concern or complaint you have the right to approach the Ombudsman and there are instructions for doing this on the SPSO website.
